For our last shoot meet before welcoming the year 2018, we hosted sg Opel Owner's Club, exclusively facilitated by authorised Opel brand dealer AutoGermany. With the brand nailing it with their recent refreshed design language, it was not surprising to see the club consisting of popular models like the Opel Astra, Sports Tourer, and the captivating compact Adam. They are stylishly designed and very well-built.

As quoted on their website, "Sculptural artistry, executed with German precision engineering expertise." It is definitely a bright future ahead for Opel and we are grateful to be presented with this opportunity to shoot for her car club. Beautiful weather, friendly people, handsome cars and a great setting at Carros Centre. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

One of the grandest private car shoot-meets we have co-hosted with our partner-in-crime, Carousell Motors along with other major sponsors, was concluded over a weekend in November, and what a journey it has been, with almost five months of lead planning time for the massive Singapore Honda Vezel / HR-V Club.

Undoubtedly the most recognisable crossovers on our sunny island, 100 car owners participated in this ambitious formation at the Singapore F1 pit straight. A separate drive-in photobooth overlooking Gardens by the Bay's duo domes was assembled to capture each and every uniquely customised ride as they enter the invite-only premise, donned by three amazing and professional racequeens - Abby, Chrissa and Vanessa who smiled tirelessly for every photo.

The very efficient planning team of club #SHVHC made our job a breeze. We managed to shoot in record time, 1-minute per car at the photobooth that includes 3 different angles - quarter front & back and owner's posed shot with racequeens. A feat that will become our benchmark for future meets of this scale.

This is a small Volvo dominant team shoot hosted together with Carousell Motors. A couple of members have switched car brands but like how a closely knitted family is, they remain in a beautiful friendship that is not easy to come by. The individual shoot started off late afternoon and final group shots during blue hour as impeccably timed.

Ten is a great number here because all ten of these splendid Honda Civic Type Rs are renewed for another good ten years on our roads. As much as we wished to admire the cars a little longer, it was not easy shooting in the dim environment of Gardens by the Bay. We had to mix a few different lighting techniques to shoot both the ride and talent. Averaging around four exposures per car, we were at the mercy of time to complete all ten of them in three hours.

When car enthusiasts gather, the common denominator is respect. The love of cars, the camaraderie and sharing of banter. This car club named themselves N2ZS - read "En-thu-si-ast". Together with Carousell Motors, we hosted a "Pizzas 'n' Cars" shoot session for them. An after video was also filmed.
