This GranTurismo unit has a special dark military green paintwork that made it really outstanding at night under the warm white LED street lights. From far, you can tell she oozes all that is compelling and irresistible, signalling a strong Italian design flair mated to a high revving engine performance.

As we already know, the Stradale is one that comes with a much aggressive package, and to be in bright red, it is begging to be raced at any given opportunity.

We did a simple shoot for this black chromed chameleon without any usage of photographic lighting, accentuating her reflective surface that mirrored the surrounding environment. The outcome was surprisingly pleasant.

It's never easy to meet another person whom you grow up with, that shares the same taste, and have the same kind of motivation to sharpen each other as you. You don't have to look far because here's one fine example of two dapper gentlemen who have engaged our photography service to capture their prized rides and moments of brotherhood and camaraderie that sometimes, we admit, have been missing in our lives. We were not joking if we told you this year's traditional 0808 rounding was an intimate experience with the Traffic Police. sgCarShooters had the privilege to be the chase car for TeamCloud9SG, an exclusive Singapore supercar group that consists of a handful of exotic rides with a few hundred horsepower to spare.

The super convoy started from the West and continued to the North before heading our way down to the South, all these while with two Traffic Police bikes right ahead of us for almost a third of the journey. We wound up the "adventure" with a friendly Traffic Police taking down our particulars for routine checks.

If the millennium was your thing, you may have already heard of this hit line in the Matrix trilogy, a sci-fi action film about Earth being dominated by sentient machines rebelling against humanity. It was undeniably on the favourite movie list of millions that boasted new camera tricks and ideas, and a virtually immersive story line that pokes deep into the meaning of life.

Since then, the red and blue pill concept has become popular culture symbols representing the choice between embracing the sometimes painful truth of reality and the blissful ignorance of illusion. In this case, the subconscious mind does translate to a perfect fit for our photo subjects - A red Maserati Granturismo MC Stradale representing today's combustion engine prowess, and a blue BMW i8 that just happens to arrive from the future.
