The '18 IS300 gained a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a RWD setup. Well honed as a cruise and comfort machine with decent power to boot, Lexus has also given her looks of an uncompromising performance car with enlarged air intakes and a jaw dropping spindle grill.

The rainy season is on her way out and our car shoot sessions have resumed. We are headed off with this pair from the BMW family, a British green MINI ONE and a frozen grey G20 330i looking refreshed frolicking under the partially clear sky.

Another first for us - the first Infiniti we have ever shot. This is the Q50, a 2.0L turbocharged luxury sedan churning over 200bhp and a staggering 350Nm of torque. F1 driver Sebastian Vettel (formally at Infiniti Redbull Racing) was said to have test driven the Q50 at Infiniti’s test track in Japan and gave inputs to tweak both her suspension and steering settings.

We did a simple shoot for this black chromed chameleon without any usage of photographic lighting, accentuating her reflective surface that mirrored the surrounding environment. The outcome was surprisingly pleasant.

For the discerning, this is the B8.5 model of the popular Audi A4 series - A midlife refresh of an already elegantly sculptured midsize executive sedan body line. Compared to the B8, it has an updated front end, including new headlights, new grille, new fog lights, a new bumper, a new hood, and new fenders.

In her flawlessly polished lava grey paintwork, this is not the easiest subject to shoot in the middle of downtown Singapore. The owner, Colin, took great pains to maintain a high standard of shine which our photos have to do justice to.

There's a new kid on the block and it is immensely bold and sophisticated, yet at the same time emanates geek culture when seated inside. This is the new 276bhp AWD Arteon R-Line gran turismo, powered by a 2.0L turbocharged TSI engine pushing 350 Nm of torque, and paired to the quick-shifting 7-speed DSG. Century run a respectable 5.6s. A Dynaudio sound system comes standard in the R-Line package. In other words, the Arteon is born to assault the premium car marques.
