We did a simple shoot for this black chromed chameleon without any usage of photographic lighting, accentuating her reflective surface that mirrored the surrounding environment. The outcome was surprisingly pleasant.

This is one unicorn of a ride, a stage 2 tuned M-sport F22 coupe churning close to 300bhp and 450Nm of torque, proudly owned by petite lady owner, Debbie, who appeared nothing like an adrenaline junkie. Rumours has it that this car is anything but stock. Last heard, major pipes were modded - downpipe, charge pipe, boost pipe and turbo inlet pipe.

Special mention of project car sponsors: - Tuned by Project'A - Rear diffuser by JDM Autocare - Wrapped by H2 Decal Singapore - Vinyl coated by Autotriz Singapore.

We have put together a short film featuring Vaune Phan and the tale of her little "from riding to driving" adventure. With the courtesy car from Liberty Boutique Auto, we took a day to film the various footages at three separate locations, highlighting Toyota's latest hot property, the space-age looking crossover called the C-HR (Coupe High Rider), and Vaune Phan, a prominent lady biker to share her thoughts about the car.

From her own words, "Having been a bike enthusiast for the past years now, I thought it'd be interesting to share my perspectives and personal opinions on four-wheelers too. Now it seems that Hybrid cars are on the rise, as they're not only environmental friendly, but they offer superb financial savings from having efficient fuel consumption too."

You can enjoy the full review of the car on her blog.

Some rolling shots during the filming set.

We picked on the chromosomes pun and named this duo "The Chrome-somes" because these two rides donning flashy anodized colours have huge racing DNAs in their lineage. To be specific, the Ducati Panigale 899 in chrome red spray versus the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in chrome pink wrap. A superbike with incredible performance designed to dominate both track and street versus a Libertywalk + Novitec kitted supercar with a performance of epic proportions.

Some numbers to note and compare. The AWD Aventador comes with a 6.5L V12 engine and produces 700 horses at 8000 rpm and 509 pound-feet of torque at 5500 rpm, enabling it to do the century run in 2.9 seconds at an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h. It delivers a power to weight ratio of 2.25 kg per horse as compared to the superbike's 1.3 kg per horse, almost doubling it. The Panigale's Superquadro two-cylinder engine on the other hand makes 148 horses at over 10,000 rpm and produces 73 pound-feet of torque. Hypothetically, the 899 will jump off the line faster than the Aventador but it will not be able to dominate for long. Someday, we might just propose this race. Someday. In the meantime, discover more on superbiker's life at her blog vaunephan.blogspot.sg.
