We were secretly thrilled to shoot this Volkswagen Passat because it has just been launched in Singapore this year, and the fact that this generation is looking way better than its predecessors. The day started ominously with the sky threatening a severe thunderstorm but we were lucky the prevailing wind did us a great favour. As Mammatus clouds started forming over the fresh lawn, combined with a beautiful sun rise in the distant horizon, the white Passat (and owner) appeared to gleam so much with pride. Boxes checked for a perfect fashion magazine shoot!

We call this super luxury or rather, an excessive self-indulgence of unimaginable extravagance. Our inertia to step out from shooting the cabin was strong, very strong.
